A bulletin board for an organization like ours is only as good as the content that gets sent in. Often with non-profits, bulletin boards disintegrate into an 'obituary page'. We naturally want to hear about deaths, and we want to post them with all the respect they deserve. But we also want to hear about life. Life includes births, birthdays, children, grandchildren, graduations, pictures, promotions, engagements, weddings, enlistments, purchases, sales, parties, and yes, even deaths. So think about 'all the news that's fit to print' and start sending information our way. Pictures will work best in jpg format for this website authoring software. jacklavers@laversranch.com

3/05/09 A special thanks to Liz Mebane, owner of the IDLE SPUR cafe at Famoso. She continues to put forth a wonderful meal at every meeting! The Idle Spur is also serving dinner on Friday nights with the full Basque set up. Reservations are recommended.
3/04/09 What a great meeting! We received an excellent turn out for our special "Trich" meeting. A special thanks goes out to all that were involved including the attendees! Your attendance really made the meeting a success! We also recently had a wonderful spring tour meeting with our state officers from the CCA. It was nice to be able to meet our new CCA president as well as his supporting officers. A special thanks to Liz Mebane, owner of the IDLE SPUR cafe at Famoso. She continues to put forth a wonderful meal at every meeting! We would also like to thank the new members, like the "Twins", for showing an interest and a want to be a part of this industry.
12/03/08 Family History Pages: I have started loading up the history information that I have been given. If you want your family history page started and loaded onto the site, I need some details and a photo (jpeg) or two. You can email the history as a WORD document and attach the jpeg(s). 11/20/08 History Page Updates: I was finally able to start loading up some of the information that a few of you've passed along for the 'History Page'. It will take a while to get the page hierarchy sorted out so that everything is easily accessible; so be patient. There can eventually be a page for all families/ranches that are members and will provide the information. If you have a web page, send me the address and I'll create a hyperlink from your KCCA ranch home page to your ranch web site. In the mean time, please send along the history of your family/ranch and a photo or two that you would like for folks to see.
